The Law of the Gun

Lawyers have to get 12 hours of continuing legal education every year to keep their law license, because the law is constantly changing, and we hold people’s future in our hands. Gun owners should be responsible enough to invest a few bucks and a few hours a year to refresh their understanding of the law, and get updates. Because the law is always changing, and you may hold someone’s life (your own, a loved one’s, etc.) in your hands.

Gosnell, P.C., in conjunction with Lighthorse Tactical, LLC, is again offering a gun law briefing called Law of the Gun.  It will be held on June 24th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Sheepdog Firearms Training Center (here on Facebook), 5900 Deerfoot Parkway, Trussville, Alabama. Sheepdog FTC is a brand spanking new state-of-the-art firearms training facility, including indoor shooting ranges and a gun store (including accessories, weapons, and ammunition!).

The 3+ -hour seminar covers the laws concerning legal ownership, carry, and use of firearms.  Although a broad range of topics is covered, emphasis is placed on the laws of concealed carry and self defense.  Safety and proper weapon handling is also covered.  As this is a classroom seminar, there will be no shooting (particularly at the instructor), so no gear is required.  Bring all the questions you can come up with, though!
